Does anyone have any idea why sausage balls are usually just made around the holidays?

Ho Ho Ho - have some pig parts and other stuff.

Sausage ball-type events : Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, 4th of July, Valentine's Day, Saturday....

note to scoobie's mom - this year, I used plastic gloves when preparing the sausage balls for my annual party. It was soooo wonderful to not have to dig dough out from under the nails!
At 8:43 PM, Jenn said...: the medium sized scoop from pampered chef is perfect if you don't want to get your hands all yucky. but, they then do not come out as perfect little porky-cheesey-yummies. still great, though!
